In one study, Ω-3 content in lamb increased when sheep was fed with Ω-3 rich microalgae.

Other experiments shown that feeding of Schizochytrium algae powder improved meat quality of ruminants, increased body DHA levels and Ω-3/Ω-6 values. [1]
Milk is one of the most popular drinks in the world. Studies confirmed that feed itself impose non-negligible effect on the nutrition value of milk. In one experiment, Holstein cattle were fed with Ω-3 fortified feed staff, Ω-3 was seen to increase in milk, while total fat content of the milk was unaffected. [2]
